U Mad

"U Mad" is a song released by Vic Mensa featuring Kanye West. Recorded during the So Help Me God era, and could've been intended for the album at some point, the song was produced by Kanye West, Mike Dean, Smoko Ono & Stefan Ponce, with additional production by Charlie Heat. The song samples Kanye's All Day single, interpolating "South side" into the song. Speculation and rumors started that Vic Mensa took Kanye's verse for the song from a French rapper. An older version of the song with slight lyrics and instrumental differences and shorter length was supposedly posted on Vic Mensa's SoundCloud but has since been taken down. Almost a year later, Vic made a live remix of "U Mad" but basing the song around the Flint Water Crisis happening at the time. The single was released on April 20, 2015, with the music video being released on June 9th, 2015.
