Background Information[edit]
On May 3, 2015, West announced that he was changing the title of his upcoming album So Help Me God to Swish. This was likely inspired by West's use of the word in his March 2015 single All Day.
Waves[edit]
In February 2016, Swish was briefly renamed Waves, named after the track of the same name. After Waves was removed from the album, the title was again changed to the eventually released The Life of Pablo.
